The word esoteric comes from the Greek esoterikos, meaning “within”, which is a rather lovely way of describing this treatment.​ Esoteric Healing works with the understanding that we are more than just our physical body. Our physical, emotional, mental and energetic wellbeing are interconnected, and sometimes the things we experience in life can leave us feeling depleted, tense, stuck or out of balance. During your session, I'll tune into you as a whole rather than simply focusing on one symptom or one area of the body. After our initial chat you will get comfortable on the treatment table lying on your tummy and I will look more at your physical body. I will apply firm pressure to your fascia to stimulate different acupressure points on your energy meridians. You will turn over and I’ll apply pressure to the key points on your front. You may notice some areas feel tender or ticklish when pressure is applied, tell me and I'll note any areas of tenderness on your body map. Once the physical body work is complete, I'll make you comfortable under a soft or weighted blanket and move into the gentler energetic part of your treatment. I'll work to rebalance your electric and magnetic energies and then use Reiki to see how your energies are flowing. We’ll then zip up all that lovely positive energy, ground ourselves and sit down to share what you felt and anything that may have come to the surface for you.​ After your session, I'll send you a personalised report highlighting what we noticed together and some gentle areas for further reflection.​
