Ear seeds are tiny seeds or beads that I place on specific acupressure points on your ear. They gently stimulate those points to support relaxation, ease tension and encourage a greater sense of balance. By applying gentle pressure with ear seeds you can stimulate Qi flow to address energy blockages and promote natural healing. Ear seeds utilise the relationship between your ear auricles and the nervous system, specifically targeting the auricular branch of the vagus nerve. Similar to reflexology where the whole body is mirrored on the foot, the ear is a microsystem too. Ear seeds are a complimentary therapy widely used for pain management, anxiety relief, stress and overall well-being. They can ease both mental and physical symptoms. Based on the symptoms you are wanting relief from I will apply between 2 and 6 ear seeds on the relevant acupressure points, creating a gentle pressure, on each ear. I have more than 100 ear maps covering things from abdominal pain to worry and most letters of the alphabet in between. Acupressure is similar to acupuncture but offers a needle free technique which can be left in place for up to 5 days. Your ear is gently cleaned with an alcohol wipe to remove any excess natural oils which could prevent the seed from sticking well to your ear. The ear seed is transferred to your ear using tweezers. Some people feel effects almost immediately, such as relaxation or tension release. For others, benefits build gradually over several days as the ear seeds continue to stimulate the acupressure points. You can wear them for up to 5 days and to remove your ear seeds simply peel off, no special remover is needed. It's fine to get them wet, just let them dry naturally, do not rub.
